40 weeks

Pia had a very eventful week! On Tuesday, Pia had a playdate with cousin Callista. On Thursday, Pia had her 9 month doctor check up, then she went to the Phillies game. On Saturday, Pia had a picnic in the park with Uncle Jake and Auntie Sam. On Sunday, Pia welcomed back Uncle John and Grandpop from Barcelona.

Developments:  Pia has hair!! Like 4 strands, but whatever! :)  She is also crawling forward instead of only backwards, lol. I tried to get a video of her saying Bye, but failed. Enjoy the videos anyway!

39 Weeks- 9 months old!

Miss Pia is 9 months old! What a journey it's been so far :)
Pia's first words are Ball and Bye Bye. She will look at the soccer ball and say "ball" and then when someone leaves she will wave and say Bye Bye! It's adorable! She also told the teacher at daycare to "op" for "stop" so.... looks like it has begun.....

This was another exciting weekend for Pia. On Saturday, we went to Daddy's soccer game then for a walk downtown and enjoyed an outside dinner with the nice weather. On Sunday, Pia met some of Daddy's college friends and their kids. Pia had a wonderful time playing outside with everyone. Pia experienced her first swing set ride- she loved it!

On Friday 4/17, we met Daddy after work, then stopped at the park for a swing ride.
Pia was not too sure at first... but then LOVED it!
